THE LOUD KILLERS

Hypertension, otherwise known as high blood pressure has been coined as the silent killer. Many people who have this disorder may not have any symptoms alerting them that their blood pressure is elevated. If there are no symptoms, no treatment is sought. And, high blood pressure can lead to other problems, strokes affecting your mind or heart attacks affecting the muscles in your heart. These are two of the most life sustaining organs.

If you suspect that you may have high blood pressure or in a routine exam the disorder is detected, your physician will write a prescription for a medication to treat the hypertension. If you take the medication, as directed, it will control the disease. And, if other instructions are carried out; such as healthy eating and exercise, it has been noted, in rare cases, the medications can be prescribed in smaller dosages or, in some instances, can be stopped. Of course, the disease must be monitored to prevent reoccurrence.

Today, there are loud killers. Loud because the symptoms are bold, intense and boisterous. These disorders can gripe your heart, squeeze and blocks life sustaining products from entering. They can damage your heart, by injecting poisons. The toxins travel throughout your body causing irrational, erratic behaviors, causing destruction. Also, these aliments can take over you mind, altering all brain functions and practical abilities.

The loud killers are the emotions of Stress, Worry, Anger, and Pity, for the sake of this post, I will refer to them as S.W.A P.

  • Stress is a mental tension caused by the problems in your life. According to research, I found online, stress is connected with heart disease, cancer, lung ailments, accidents, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide. Stress can be triggered by money, employment and relationships.
  • Worry means to continuously ponder on problems or fears thinking that something has or could happen. Worry is a negative prayer. The concept of constantly thinking about a problem over and over trying to find a solution, on your ability. Worry can cause insomnia, weight loss, stress eating and headaches.
  • Anger is having a strong feeling of being upset or annoyed. Anger can be bullets of hot emotion damaging anything that it hits. If uncontrolled anger can lead to physical, emotional, and mental damage.
  • Pity reflects an extreme feeling of sadness or sympathy. It is the Woe Is Me Syndrome. When you think no one understands you, the world is against you, no one has never been in your situation; no one ever helps you, you are the only one that hurts. It is all about you and your sorrow. You feel alone and isolated.

S.W.A.P affects all of us. It can be contagious. It can metastasize to your words, thoughts and emotions. You may not effected by all four. You may have one, or a combination of two. If not treated, S.W.A.P can lead into to more serious diseases that can lead to death. What are you to do?

What happens when you discover you have a disease? You go the physician, he or she examines you and writes a prescription. Then, you follow the instructions and take the medicine.

Well, here are the instructions to do if you have S.W.A.P or a few of the elements. Go to the Lord, He is the Almighty Physician.

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. Exodus 15:26 King James Version (KJV)

Go to the Lord for an examination. Your examination is your prayer.

Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. Psalm 26:2 King James Version (KJV)

Acknowledge His S.C.R.I.P.T, The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God that dwells in our hearts. He is our S.C.R.I.P.T our prescription from God. He is our:

Strengthener, He helps us through our weaknesses, illnesses and our frailties of life.

Comforter, He consoles our worried, upset and frightened feelings, thoughts and behaviors.

Recaller, He will help us to recall or remember the Word of God. And, also, to remind us that all things will work together for good for those that love and trust God. And, we are the Righteousness of God.

Intercessor, He intercepts, on our behalf, according to the Word, to our Lord, God.

Peacemaker, He is the peace in our hearts. Call upon Him (Peace), not the world’s peace, but God’s peace, and the spirit of peace will swell in your heart.

Teacher, He educates us on God’s Word, integrity, righteousness and most of all the truth.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26 King James Version (KJV)

The Word of God is the medicine. Take your medicine by reading, studying and meditating on the Word of God to heal you of all things that ails you.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 King James Version (KJV)

The Loud Killers have a cure. God, The Ultimate Physician; the S.C.R.I.P.T, the Holy Spirit; and the Word, the medicine. Be healed!

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:14 King James Version (KJV)
