GREEN LIGHT-GO! GO! Go!

Have you traveled down a long stretch of road and caught every green light? The first green light may go unnoticed. Then, the second light turns green light, you may smile. When the third light turns green light, you feel like you have accomplished something. You adjust your speed, not to go too slow or too fast. You begin to look forward to the next light, hoping you catch that one, as well. When you arrive at your pointed destination you noticed you have shaved time off your journey. You relish in your accomplishment and share this achievement with others.

To catch every green light of traffic it is about timing and speed. This can apply to the green light of life. You waited for the right time and paced yourself, accordingly. These are the people who patiently waited, at the red light, of life. Who took precautions during the yellow light, of life. They proceeded when their light of life turned green.

Have you noticed how some people are catching every opportunity and speeding down the highway of life, and blowing the exhaust fumes in your face?

The green light in life is available when:

• The timing is right. It is a time for everything. Patience is the key. Opportunities may come our way, but it may not be the correct time to perform them. Learn to wait with the direction of God. He will instruct when it’s the right time for everything in your life.

• Interventions are made. Interventions are strategies to produce a change or an end result. Set goals, then compose strategies to achieve them. God has a plan for all of us. We must tap into His Resources through prayer.

• Achievements are fulfilled.  Accomplishments are acquired after hard work. After determination, patience and perseverance, achievements are welcomed.

Next time when life doors are opening quickly and goals are being accomplished at a record-breaking speed, you will realize that you are zooming through the green light of life. Go! Go! Go!
